Real Romance

I am a sensible and practical woman. I keep jumper cables in my trunk, an umbrella at my office, 200 dollars in my sock drawer, and a fully stocked first aid kit. I believe in low maintenace hair, comfortable shoes, and whichever brand of frozen pizza is on sale. While engrossed in all of this feeble sensibility I can't help but feel that something is missing. I feel there must be something said for junes, moons, fairy tales, and ferris wheels. I must admit, I also beleve in bubble baths in claw footed tubs while surrounded by a bazillion twinkly candles. Something should be said about the seduction of chocolate covered strawberries and pink champagne, the flicker of a warm fire, even the seduction of brothers named Gershwin. Welcome to my blog. I'm a virgin blogger. It will be awkward, i will stumble and bumble. If you can stick it out, i hope you're able to glean a few useless facts from this blog. Since I'm new to this, i thought i would start out with an introduction. I am a writer and reader by nature. Even more natural than my penance for writing is my love of cooking. I am a procrastinator, most view this as a selfish and time consuming habit. Let me tell you first hand that it is. I love to travel, and consider myself lucky to have seen six continents and inmeasurable beauty. I have been afflicted with a serious case of wanderlust for many years, and i see no end in sight.
